Versatile Crop Tank || Spots || New Swim!
Lovelies! Once again, we were lucky enough to work with this amazing print! Ladies loved this one last year and we hunted down the last of this fabric...score! We lined this one with classic black. Loving the combo! We can ramble on and on about this print, but we will save you here, since we did it with the matching bottoms! Don't forget about the matching bottoms! And, these tops are so versatile (hence the name)! They can be worn in place of a bra, mixed with other clothes, and very practical in this fabric for activities like athletics, yoga, and more!
This cut though...Let's talk about it. This is our best selling cut and women can't seem to get enough of them in our cotton blends and other fabrics (all sourced locally and sustainably in downtown LA!❤️), and after countless customer's asked if we'd cut it in swim, we patiently awaited the 2020 swim season and whipped out the scissors. Thanks for the rad feedback babes! These are double lined in the same great swim fabric you see on the outside, and while we may sometimes change the print or color of a lining, it is always the same fiber content and knit. We love there performance of our highest quality fabric option doubled in comparison to using a lighter weight lining fabric. It feels extra supportive and also aids in our ability to completely rid our swimsuit construction of any elastic in the neck, armholes, and leg openings if we're talking one-pieces or bottoms. We really like to avoid elastic in our pieces because it just ends up cutting into our bodies in a way that does feel good, not to mention healthy. Elastic-free!
The fabric is a 4-way stretch nylon/spandex blend. We only have small quantities, so get it while it lasts and enjoy feeling the feels in your small batch, ethically made apparel! Like we mentioned above, all fabrics are sourced locally in LA's garment district. Thanks for supporting and keeping our local trade alive! We buy only mill ends and dead stock fabrics that aren't worth saving for larger companies who won't roll out yardage to cut if it can't meet a minimum of they over-bought for a particular season. Our use of these fabrics supports additional textile workers, called jobbers, who greatly appreciate you, so thank you!! Jobbers are usually family run, tightly knit little businesses that help us source these fabrics. You can read more about our sourcing chain in the "About Us" section.
Sizing: A lot of our crop tank customers like to size down one size and go for a tighter fit so that they can replace their bra and still feel supported. With the swim fabric containing a lot more stretch (elastic fibers), we strongly feel that these are true to size, so if you've sized down for cotton blends, just go with your regular size or feel free to reach out with fit questions. We are here to help you!
The Price: We realize these are priced higher than our other crop tanks. The price is due to the added labor of cutting and sewing swim fabrics. Swim fabric is very slippery and harder to cut and sew. It takes more time. We pay all of our workers a living wage and that is the number one factor driving our prices. Thank you so much for your support and understanding!
